Several pelicans were photographed in March in Moldova.

The Society for the Protection of Birds and Nature posted an image with a flock of common pelicans photographed a few days ago in the south of Moldova, above Lake Taraclia. Few of us know that flocks of pelicans in the Republic of Moldova do not meet only in the summer season. In certain regions of the country, pelicans can be seen from early spring to late summer or even mid-autumn. The Society for the Protection of Birds and Nature said that: For this reason, we can see pelicans on almost any water body rich in fish: the natural lakes of the Prut, Manta and Beleu, are notorious for hosting pelicans .
