On the Facebook page of the former director of the Agency for Inspection and Restoration of Monuments from the Republic of Moldova, Ion Ștefăniță, a post appeared containing a series of photos, taken from the Chisinau Yearbook from 1940. On the same street there were up to six hotels, eight cafes and four restaurants, Moldovans report. Residents and tourists of the capital could also spend time at the confectioneries present in Chisinau.
