Why is not it good to keep the eggs on the refrigerator door?

Most refrigerators have a special space for keeping the eggs on the inside of the door. It's logical to keep them there, but UK food safety experts think it's a mistake. If we want to have fresh eggs for as long as possible, the refrigerator door is the last place where we should store. The warmest place in the refrigerator is his door, and the eggs will spoil much quicker if they are left there. Moreover, the temperature fluctuations are very high because every time we open the refrigerator door the eggs will come into contact with the hot air in the house. Neither milk, a perishable food, should be kept there.

Vlatka Lake of the Space Agency told The Sun that eggs should be kept cold, even if they are nutrition experts who say they can stay as well at room temperature. Their safest place to hold is the middle of any inner shelf in their original box. If they are removed from their packaging, cross contamination with other foods from the refrigerator may also occur. There is even an institution in the UK that studies the safety of egg consumption, the British Egg Information Service. Specialists here say that eggs should be kept at a temperature lower than 20 degrees C, far away from strong-smelling foods.
